Jul.11, WND organized the Launch Ceremony for Civilized District Promotion Activity & “I act to realize a civilized city” volunteer activity. ZHOU Qian, the secretary of WND Party Working Committee, JI Kejian, Director of WND Administrative Committee, ZHOU Lijun, Vice secretary of WND Party Working Committee, ZHANG Minglie, Vice secretary of WND Party Working Committee and secretary of Politics and Law Committee, HUANG Shengping, Director of Communication Working Committee of People’s Congress, ZHANG Jianhua, member of Party Working Committee and vice director of WND Administrative Committee, ZHU Xiaohong, vice director of WND Administrative Committee, and LIU Mingbang, member of WND Party Working Committee and Director of Organization Ministry participated in the event. The event is mastered by LI Jianqiu, vice secretary of WND Administrative Committee, and participated jointly by secretaries and vice secretaries of WND street party working committees, leaders from relevant functional departments, over 600 volunteers from 6 streets, 7 departments and 20 companies in WND.

Government leaders like secretary ZHOU Qian and director JI Keqian presented flags to the volunteers, and Director JI also make an important speech, to further promote and arrange related works to realize a civilized district. Director JI pointed out that establishing a civilized district is the key action to implement scientific thought of development, promote better and more rapid economic and social development, and also fulfill the common wish of people. WND leads the whole city in various aspects, so it must have pioneering courage and confidence in development of a civilized district. Director JI requested that all cadres in WND must enhance their awareness from an overall and strategic aspect, unify their thoughts and have stronger sense of responsibility and urgency, so as to firmly establish thought of “Overall Situation” and perfectly complete all tasks by sticking to the working mode of being district-oriented while realizing joint action and joint achievement, as well as the principle of “Make clear responsibility further”.

There are over 100 volunteers from government offices stood at the cross road to instruct pedestrians, vehicle drivers the right way in transportation. Meanwhile, more than 100 volunteers from WND companies cleaned the streets under the hot sunshine, which pushed the activity of “I act to realize a civilized city”.
