Build up Harmony by filial respect

--Employees of Fuji Motor ( Wuxi) Instrument Co., Ltd. travel to Linshan with old people of no family

 “Filial respect leads all kindness”. Filial respect is the foundation of human morality. In order to promote such an idea, enhance company's social responsibility and organize well the activity by volunteers, days ago, Fuji Motor (Wuxi) Instrument Co., Ltd. organized jointly with WND Meicun Geracomium an activity of traveling Linshan with old person of no family on the theme of “Respect for the old is the foundation of kindness, and Filial to the old builds up harmonious society”, so as to establish a good social atmosphere and promote harmonious social development.

Company management team and labor union made good preparations and organization in advance in order to make this activity a success. The average age of the old people is above 72, among which some are disabled and can’t walk or move easily, therefore good preparations are made by the organizer in date selection, travel route, people allocation, interactive activity and food & rest arrangement. After discussed with the company labor union, all employees changed their vacation to Friday, in order to avoid business day of travel, and working staffs from the Geracomium is also invited in case of any accidents occur.

Early morning of Jun 12, the sky cleared up after the small rain, which brought us comfortable feeling of cool. On the way, being together with young employees, the old people also felt younger in heart. After arrive in Linshan, lead by the tour guide, the travel started. And we hold the flag with slogan of “Respect for the old is the foundation of kindness, and Filial to the old builds up harmonious society”, thus attracting many people to stop to have a look. When travelling the Mind-washing Pond, the sincere old people washed their eyes and face with the pond water, to feel the true meaning in the Buddha poem: Always wash, avoid to be polluted in mind. After that, we visited Nine Dragon Fountain, and Buddha Baptizing, which made the young and old people experience a baptize in mind and heart. Then, we also visited the extremely beautiful Buddhist Temple, which made the old people shocked by surprise.

Touching the wood carving works with great vitality, old people said that feel satisfied for their life after seeing so beautiful art works. How easily these old people are satisfied! We feel, as young people, we give them too less. What most surprised us is that old people have so strong physical power. After lunch, they were highly enthusiastic and required to climb onto the foot of the Buddha with 218 stairs. After rest for some time, they began to climb without asking for help and all of them reached the destination, and embraced the foot of the Buddha. On the way back, such people called by them as “ Shanghai granny”, “75 year old uncle”, and “Walking Stick Old uncle” left deep impression on us. They really desire to more communication with us from their heart, which let us feel our responsibility and obligations, and also the good results for all of us.

The traditional morality and good culture of respect to the old, love to the old, filial to the old and help to the old is a precious property for promoting ideological progress and building up harmonious society. Leaders from WND civilization office appraised our activity a good example for promoting China traditional morality. As proposed by the Action Charter by our group company, Fuji Motor Group as well as its employees are committed to the social coordination and integration, and making contributions for social development. All our employees follow sincerely this idea and will be more dedicated to various social common weal activities for WND civilization development and making more contributions to the society.
