Since beginning of this year, our labor union, as required by labor union of higher authority and took into consideration the electric production features of our own company, organized “Good Health Cup” Contest with theme of “Focus on Prevention by Scientific Development, Focus on Education by Prevention”. In the activity, we have organized contest leader group with G.M. as the group leader, established the overall plan, and made promotion within the whole company. We signed with each responsible person for safety production and fire-proof in each department the 2009 Safety Production and Fire-proof Responsibility Letter, so as to implement safety production responsibility system. And we held the employee representative meeting and sign the collective contract, salary negotiation agreement and female employee special protection contract.
Focusing on saving in coal, oil and water, we also organized series activities titled “I make contribution for power-saving and
emission reduction” and “Safety is in my heart”. All production teams established safety record, and monthly Q&A for technology safety. In year 2008, qualification rate for safety reaches 98%. Based on the requirement of environment protection, we further completed the desulfurization system and finished energy-saving & technical innovation project for mixing coal gas in No.4 furnace, as well as more than 10 repairing and scrap reusing tasks. We also organized safety training for totally 200 people including volunteer firemen, team leaders, and fire-proof responsible persons. Besides, we conducted “Fire Drill” and “Accident-proof Drill” for 4 times, with 98% operator participants, through which, the operating skill and capability to solve production accident of operators are greatly improved. Meanwhile, they have basically understand the using method of fire-proof devices, and improved their capability to face the risk.
This year, 17 employees in special position participated the work training and 100% passed the annual examination and certified, which ensures the reliability of electric production; The company issued and implemented the rule of “No smoking in production area” and conducted monthly safety production award evaluation for all workshops. In this year, we organized 8 times for supervision and inspection for smoking, fire and unsafe & uncivilized behaviors with all mid-level managers and employee representatives, and 2 times for visiting employees in the first line production. We have distributed sanitary goods for the first half year, and renewed 1-year health plan for all employees and 3-year health plan for female employees. The health station have made health check schedule for female employees and accepted over 10 reasonable suggestions raised by employees. In the poster board, 5 reports regarding the safe production were publicized and a special picture album for employees was issued to welcome the May Day.
