In the evening of Sep. 25, just before the 60th anniversary of China and the moon festival, the “National Day and Moon Festival Celebration” for WND companies was held in Radisson Hotel. Secretary ZHOU Qian, Director JI Kejian, Vice director HONG Yanwei, as well as leaders from WND key enterprises, 530 enterprises, software and service outsourcing companies gathered together to chat and discuss development.

Director JI reported the WND economic development in 2009. All WND departments and companies actively took actions for the crisis and economic situation finally got better and further developed. All these achievements came from great support and joint effort from WND companies. He hopes that based on the opportunity of building the center of “Feeling China”, WND could speed up technical innovation and industrial upgrade, join hand in hand, so as to write a new chapter for the WND economic development.

Mr. Jos Van Beneden, the G.M. of Atlas Copco ( Wuxi) Compressor Co., Ltd. and WND AFIE Chairman made a speech as company representative, that within 5-year stay in WND, he witnessed the great changes of the city, more and more foreign-invested enterprises set their home in WND. He specially appreciated WND administrative committee for the support to companies during global economic crisis, for the assistance made to reduce loss on companies brought by the crisis, and encourage companies to walk out of the difficulty as well as get back stable business again.

Lastly, Secretary ZHOU made toast, celebrating the 60^th anniversary of China, the traditional moon festival, the close cooperation between the companies and the government, the joint effort of fighting with the economic crisis and walking out of the difficulty, as well as expressing best wishes for all participants.
